The City of Ottawa has received a Zoning By-law Amendment application (File no. D02-02-16-0030) to develop two 16-storey residential towers with a total of 257 units at 809 Richmond Road.
The proposed development will demolish the existing one-storey restaurant and develop two 16-storey residential towers with a 63.4m2 rooftop amenity space. The residential towers will share a three-storey podium with retail at grade and underground parking. The underground parking will feature 291 parking spaces and 158 bicycle spaces over three levels, accessed from a driveway and ramp at the east end of the building’s frontage on Richmond Road. The proposal is requesting height increase to 16 storeys (51 metres) and to permit an increased maximum side yard setback of 10.5 metres.
A technical circulation package will be sent out shortly. Once the application is put on circulation, access to submitted plans and studies will be available online at Ottawa.ca/devapps.
