Hello;

Do you part to keep electronic waste out of the landfills.

Where: First Unitarian Congregation of Ottawa
Address: 30 Cleary Ave., Ottawa, Ontario (off Richmond Rd., 1/2 km east of Woodroffe Ave.)
Date: Saturday Sept, 17,  2011
Time: 9:00 am. - 2:00 pm.

Bring your cast-off

Please download a letter-sized poster or  half-page poster for your workplace, housing co-op, local store, condominium, or anywhere else!

Material collected under this provincial program is reused, refurbished, or is recycled under environmentally responsible processes.

** The owner is responsible for destroying any data on a computer.

    * Receivers, tuners, speakers
    * Turntables
    * Video players/projectors
    * Video recorders
    * Home theatre equipment

Sorry - no microwaves, air conditioners, humidifiers.

The Ontario Electronic Stewardship (OES) programme supports these recycling depots by providing advice and guidance, and the big green bins!!  Its website describes the extensive electronic stewardship activities in the province of Ontario.
